Oh God my God

Oh God my God

A Poem by Armanis
"

A hymn to God, Christ the king.

"

Oh God my God!

prelude

I once stood at your right hand.

Why was I betrayed?

I’ll make your world, I’ll own it!

I’ll make this world, a living Hell

Oh God, how wonderfully great thou art,

Created the Universe in its parts.

The Big Bang, thy wonderful art

Thou created the Heavens and the Earth

In everything is in thee, thy great Heart

Oh God, what great shame I bring to your world,

Oh God, my heart has this Earth spoiled

Oh greates I bring, spoiled.

Oh how I deserve this, be boiled.

My heart, yes it has brought evil soil.

Fallen from your great will, have I undone

This world you have beautifully made

I have created in me,

Great evil that none can compare to

Release these chains on me, release my soul.

For your grace is greatly abundant here,

Jesus, Jesus, you died for me there

Prick up and turn my ears,

Jesus, Jesus, you picked up my cross!

Woe to me, I cannot do this alone.
