Eyes inside

Eyes inside

A Poem by Andrew R.

To see with my eyes

Is to know that I'm blind

To see with my heart

Is to know I have sight

I can see:

Death

Destruction

Hate

Injustice

Racism

Corurption

With my eyes

And soon give up before I try

I can see:

Life
Renewal
Love
Justice

Unity

Integrity

With my heart

And proclaim  a new era of Humanity

To view with my hearts

Is to know what can be

To see with my eyes

Is to view what I've seen

Open the eyes of the heart

To know life for the sunshine it is

Close the eyes in our head

To feel the aura of revolution inside

Pain is temporary

Sadness will fade away

Grief is a disease with remedy

And death will not stop the Revolution

Empowerment’s genesis lies

In the power deep inside

To see the world as a canvas

That we, the Future, design
