Life's Gifts

Life's Gifts

A Poem by Arthur Rider
"

Not worthy of God’s Blessings.
Not worthy of God’s Love.
Not worthy of God’s Power.
Or such gifts from Above.

What is joy without sorrow?
Yesterday without tomorrow?
As time goes by,
We’re born, live and die.

What matters in life?
What’s a fork without a knife?
A balance is made.
The mountain and the glade.

We are given a choice,
To weep or to rejoice.
I know what I will do.
The choice is up to you.
