Kitty and Me

Kitty and Me

A Poem by MOMandWIFEistheLIFE
"

I used to own 2 cats and watching my daughters play with them was hilarious. They would run around the living room and kitchen, dragging a long piece of ribbon behind them and giggling, while our one kitten, Cinnamon, chased them. This poem reminds me of

"

KITTY AND ME

My best friend is a kitty;

she’s silly as can be.

Whenever I am with her,

she mews happily.

Around her neck is a collar;

it’s pink with a silver heart.

Every night I wish

that we will never be apart.

I like to pet her tummy-

she has the softest fur-

and when she licks my hand,

I giggle at her purr.

She has a favorite toy-

it is a rubber mouse-

and it’s funny as she carries it

all around the house.

When it’s time for sleep,

she climbs up on my bed,

and snuggles by the pillow

where I lay my head.
