Cavernous Darkness

Cavernous Darkness

A Poem by Adelia Alighieri
"

Written about two years ago, this poem does refer to the Israeli attack at Gaza. May God bless us all.

"

Feel that your heart still has hope,

And prayers and millions of dreams;

About people singing and cheering together,

And no more the screeching screams.

O people! Come back from the field of hell,

Where there is sorrow and destruction;

Where people play with dangerous toys,

Giving rise to the devil's resurrection.

May there be peace,

Among all that dwells on earth;

Let their be joy and harmony,

And happiness and eternal mirth.

There are people; our brothers, our sisters,

And they're being brutally killed;

Instead of in love and friendship,

In war, some of us are skilled.

Join together, to wish,

That from today, let their be no tears; just peace;

And this savage fight,

Would someday, somehow cease.

It's rather immature, but still...it's got feelings, at least, i think so.

This poem does have feeling...I imagine that if more people want peace and speak about it, it will make a difference.
