Color of the Genius

Color of the Genius

A Poem by Ignosapiens

I am finding color of genius,
highbrow choices indeed,
seeking refuge from commonplace,
making my pen bleed.

Blue is what I think it is,
a thinker's blood stream flow,
writing papers, turning revolts
and giving monarchs, a fatal blow.

Black is the next contender,
All and none at same,
what seems a shadow in light,
is engulfing night's refrain.

Red is the color of warmth I see,
challenging the shackles rusty,
Rage, fury and wrath all one,
Muscle, Power and husky.

All been tried, but none seems ace,
may be that's what genius says,
paint with, what has never been seen,
with strokes of unseen grace.
