Once upon a dream

Once upon a dream

A Poem by Ender
"

i won't let go

"

i won't let this go, even if the time

was against me-- as moment

after moment didn't exist-- the taste of salt

on our lips and sand between my toes;

a sunset painted goregously gauged

my heart with nostaglia, knowing that

it neverwould occur again.

"... I won't let go..."

said my defiant heart, even if it bled with loss

of living blood-- I won't forget this memory,

though it was a dream.

Author's Note

Ender
this poem points to how a dream can be something so wonderful,
you feel broken when awake, knowing that it never happen again.
