Crimson

Crimson

A Poem by Vava
"

Broken Inside

"

Sitting here in this depth of darkness
A shimmer of light flutters in the air above

Twinkling down the heavens before my very eyes
I reach out as my hands fall short

The light dims
As though hope itself was taken from me

Warm droplets run down my dry cheeks
I rub them dry as it smears on my face only to reform

Broken I lay there
Shattered I rest uneasy
Crimson I see

Poem is amazing. Your use of words is outstanding. You are a very good writer. You can tell a story. I like the ending. You can say so much with so few words. That takes talent. A excellent poem.
