Voided Love?

Ticking of a clock stops
Nothing but the repulsive beating of my heart remains
Thinking back now at all the words I left unsaid
Have they all become lies
Eating at me from inside out

A sad love tune turns on within this voided space
I attempt to follow it
Opening my shallow heart to let it in
Only to end up distancing myself from its enticing melody

Pondering bout why its distancing made no sense
Reminiscing
Everything seemed to always fall  short
Just like the fleeting feeling of love
Love - a longing everyone wishes to experience
It's always there
Yet no one realizes til its gone

The tune can be like something you have always longed for but couldn't grasp
Again I can't think of a decent title
