My Storm

My Storm

A Poem by ashweejune

Words are only words

Feelings are only feelings

But when feelings mix with words like these

How do you hide from your inners self?

How do you keep your secrets deep inside?

These days

Seem to crash down like rain drops during a storm

It seems friends come and go

No ones there long enough to hold me through this storm of mine

Winds blow and skies turn dark

You are the only person you can turn to

Looking yourself into the mirror

Everyday waking up to the darkness

Wishing things would change

You get so numb

From the pain inside

Happiness seems in no truth of reality

You keep your pain

Deep inside

Wishing and hoping
