A Waiting Thought.

A Waiting Thought.

A Story by vshl
"

Thoughts inside a woman waiting on her husband.

"

Dinner was on the table and he still hadn’t come home. It was about eleven at night he got off work at 6. No phone call, no text, nothing. I wasn’t worried. I was mad, furious even, but I couldn’t lose it over him. I knew what I was getting into when I married him. He wasn’t a good guy last year, I thought I could change his straying ways by getting pregnant but the baby kept him even more distant. I never thought I would be single mother. Maybe it was destined that way, they say I’m just like my mother anyway. She was a bad mom. Did her best, but a bad mom. No wonder I ended up the way I did. Married to a player, with a child I don’t want, in a house I don’t like, In a town I’ve never heard of. It’s time for me to go. I’ll pack my bags and go. He wont be home tonight anyway.
