TWO LONELY SOULS

soulmates are eternal!

Two lonely souls
were destined to be,
One soared out west
The other soared east!

Two lonely souls
Were on a quest for a heart,
Never stopping for water,
No light in the dark!

These two lonely souls
Were touched by distraction,
Losing each other
Provided no satisfaction!

When these two lonely souls
Sung out loudly for each other to hear it,
They merged into one
Most powerful spirit!

I enjoyed the story in the poem. Had the feel of ancient tale. It is good when two wild heart find equal ground. Nice flow of thoughts led to very good ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
