Surrounded by a strange feeling

In the midst of darkness

There's silence all over

I can hear myself just breathing

My heartbeat keeps on racing 

Feeling someone's watching 

Through the hole in the window

Fear

Someone's walking behind me

Fear

Of the darkness at times

Searching for a warmth

To comfort my soul

From this terrible 

feeling

Waiting for a light 

To shine up on me 

And pull me out of darkness
