Distorted Reflection

she never understood the other's looks

the looks of admiration, of love and respect

 she never saw what they saw

she only saw the reflection

of a broken, unwanted, unworthy girl

they all saw the image of a strong, confident women

but somewhere in this warped mirror,

the image was lost
