Depicted Sorrow   Depicted Sorrow   Upon a canvas on a walk Your painting stood today I knew with just a moments glance That you had much to say White caps played on rising tide Beckoning to your soul The waves of gray Of the pictured day Held your heart within its cold You stood facing to the sea I know there was a tear I could feel the Breaking of your heart I could somehow sense your fear Were you thinking of the "Love" waves played Was he taken from the shore Perhaps if you were to join him Would that even up the score So many things you spoke to me By the touch of novice brush I felt you stepping to the sea I felt my heart was crushed I wanted to somehow comfort you To tell you "Please don't go!" But you will stand As it was planned I will never know Did the artist really see you Young woman by the sea Upon a walk you stood today And touched the heart of me AspiringAngel
