Tranquility

Tranquility

A Poem by seath

To chase such thought

Betrays the impetuous pulse

Of my heart of hearts

To plunge these fingers

In a field full of letters

Is to dip a life in ennui

I want to grow my third

And fourth free-fleeing feet

With a bow and arrow albeit

I’ll run endlessly for blossoms

I’ll sleep on a green velvet grass

I’ll leap though I can’t grab a speck

My vigor shall unite in might

With the voices of the earth

And I’ll lie with sunken planks.

Oh, alas! Tranquility at last.
