One Year Gone

One Year Gone

A Poem by asthavijeshwari
"

I wrote this poem on the first death anniversary of my deceased friend Mandar Shah whom I lost in a car accident on Christmas eve.

"
One year gone and no word from you
Do you miss us like we do?
It's hard to find words to tell how lives changed when u left... Nothing can fill the void that it created, we still wait for you like we have always waited...
One year gone and no word from you
Do you miss us like we do?
The moments shared with you are always cherished; we laugh we cry we tell stories that won't perish...
One year gone and no word from you
Do you miss us like we do?
We miss you in every new place that we travel, in every new joy that we share, in every memory that we create, in every little thing that we do but nothing is worth rejoicing without you...
One year gone and no word from you
Do you miss us like we do?
Thank you for giving us those unforgettable memories & we promise these tales will be treasured for centuries...
One year and no word from you but one day we all will be together, with you...
Rest In Peace.
