bittersweet

bittersweet

A Poem by Katastrophy

crystal clear pearls fall from the
ruby red windows of your soul, poured rain vomit hole
mortal mint entire, exhibit broken sapphire
moonstone dreams enrapture, venus mind recapture
that world you opened to me, that world now in the mist
a bittersweet melancholy, a bittersweet bliss abyss
mental grave of emerald, precious heart of gold
scraped, starved, diamond-carved
marooned amber mold
reveal the curtained ache of glass and marble seas
drown in the sapphire blue of the joys and tears to freeze
that void you put into me, that void you made exist
a bittersweet melancholy, a bittersweet bliss abyss
