Stone Thrower

Stone Thrower

A Poem by James

Stone thrower, do you think your pebbles matter to me?
There's no common ground, you couldn't even manage a glass house.
Vulnerable, you're not the big bad wolf I tamed long ago,
By now you should know I'm a stalwart,
I'll push myself onto that blade you call passive-aggressiveness,
Your blood means more to me than my own,
My shadow holds more terror than you, more potential.
More pain and more wisdom, this light that outlines me,
Blinded by your own doing.
