I’m Just Trying To Love Again

I’m Just Trying To Love Again

A Poem by Alexandra

It’s when you’ve kissed every mouth
You’ve felt the shapes of every body
Placed your lips on body crevices
That are so foreign
That you remember a time where things were so easy

Life with you
Was the happiest
Just as it was the worst
I don’t feel bad you never want to talk again

I keep fragments of you
In small places
Where they sneak up
In intimate moments with others
They expand and remind me
We too loved each other like this

(Wherever you go, I’ll always be here. I wish you would’ve picked up my call, I had so much to say about you and the ambers. I saw it all, everything we could’ve been)
