I Got Tired Waiting By The Phone

I Got Tired Waiting By The Phone

A Poem by Alexandra

Faulkner would tell me
If you’re miserable
Let’s wrap the entire narrative
And create a new one

So, I grabbed your head
And placed it on my coffee table
Waiting for you to evoke some kind words:
A semblance of a past time
