You

You

A Poem by Alexandra

New sheets
To rest your head on
Breathe my name outwards
Inhale this love I’m giving
I yearn to be the only thing you see

Show me what it’s like to love
With your soft hands
Rugged feet
Tender lips

Whisper words of endearment
Pause for slow glances
At the person who would give you the world

A passionate sound to this one. That we all might have such words whispered to us on new sheets.
