A Poem by Alexandra

Jessica’s text came out of left field
Just before, I was thinking about you
How well you looked at the bar
Facing away from me

“He fucked that girl from""“

That’s when I learned
Nothing was my fault
All I did was give my honesty and purity
But, it wasn’t pleasing to your eye

I laid you to rest last night
Stella was right
You will never grow up
I’ll find love in New York
Forget about this town
Forget about you
And everyone before

Settle down
Bring my daughter to the MET
Hold her hand
As we walk through the museum floor
Small steps
So she can catch up
And will reach her father at the end

It just won’t be you.

This is a big WOW. Elizabethtown I seen the movie I had big expectations but it sucked. This is a powerful punch to the gut. Emotional and heartfelt.
Feels like there's truth to this story.
