Room 4004

Room 4004

A Poem by Alexandra

She was never able to reproduce
The last surgery she had
They removed the stuck fetus from the lining of the ovary
Laid it to rest with the rest of her unfertilized eggs
There won't be another one of her
There won't be a chance to reproduce
As she lays with not an egg to her name

Yet, she is still woman
Strong
Resilient
Powerful

And her name is Claudia
