A Thinking Woman Sleeps With Monsters/ Alone At Home

A Thinking Woman Sleeps With Monsters/ Alone At Home

A Poem by Alexandra

Pictures waste away on my phone
Where we sat and smiled all day long
If we could rewind the tape
Where would you press pause?
I thought of you
Standing on a countertop
With that smiling grin like you do
And if you're not getting head from my ex-best friend in the front seat of your car
Tell me where do I fit
You used to sing about the good ol' times
Well I'm over here overdosing on it
Tell me where do I fit
If it's no longer in the backseat of our car
New Years Eve
Newport cigarettes
Flannel Shirt
Union, NJ
Midnight
We promised forever
And
I Love You
