Colours/Schoolboy

A Poem by Alexandra

Petite lips
For you to rip
Mine would just devour yours

Jet black hair
Silk strands, easily to grasp
Your hand would just get lost
In my thick nest

I can bear through the most excruciating pains
And yet, nothing will beat
The moment your eyes interlocked with hers

I saw the world in your iris
Impeccable
You're in love
And that's okay

(I never expected to be so copacetic, but here I am. Watching Truffaut on the Criterion channel, with lavender incense taking time to remember I was once in your shoes. I'll put a bookmark on this and come back to it when it's my turn)
