Dreams//Never Let It Rain

Dreams//Never Let It Rain

A Poem by Alexandra

Reach out further
Just to grab your hand
Pulling me in your wave of warmth
My body heat is centered in my lips
Whispering words of endearment in a tent
Emotional inertia
Is what pulls you in
Filling the last crevice of my heart
Yellow eyes
is the color in the morning
Opening portals into a different time and place
Where I met you before

Our love is solidified in the six stakes on the ground
Holding up a tent
Where we stayed night and day
Pondering the existence of how we began
