Psychosis 8:15 AM

Psychosis 8:15 AM

A Poem by Alexandra

Exploding neurons
Fast paced thoughts
Driving a nail through a wall
Breaking the piece in half
Rushing fever to receive
And grasp for everything
With these small hands

Rushing to find the essence of every issue
And you
The way you act
Why you breath in the manner you do
Mute voice
Crippling vocals
Darkness to reliever the fever
Overcoming my body

This is day 30
An episode occurs once a month
Bi-polar souls never get a break
From working their minds to the end
Stress is our energy
Bass tones the baseline soundtrack to our lives
Buzzing sounds to alleviate the bad news being perched from your lips
Let me feel them
No, not normal
Could I craw under your bed after making love?
No, not normal
What if I need a minute to just cry and bang my fist on the wall?
No?
Not normal.

Always keeping yourself in check
Always a facade
Always not okay
Just keep an eye and you'll see
