“Players Only Love You When They’re Playing”

“Players Only Love You When They’re Playing”

A Poem by Alexandra

Curly haired man
If you knew how to ravish this body
Why do you stare with mouth agape
My thighs are thick enough to hold you still
My tattoos enough to keep your fingers grazing for hours
"Why did you change?"
Life didn't give me any options
So, I made love to you instead
Wrapping my hair in your knuckles for you to drag
Repent for these mistakes
That I selfishly made
Guzzling another bottle of wine
My love, Morrison passed
Writing is the only thing that relieves this heart
Not you
Not him
Not her
Not anyone
Could you bear that weight?
I'm only here for the physical

I love the raw, unbothered emotion, or lack of. “I don’t want you, I wanna f**k!” Never hold back, always say what’s on ya mind! Nice write!
