Do you listen to Moose Blood?

Do you listen to Moose Blood?

A Poem by Alexandra

It’s the way the light touches the pupils of your eye
Or perhaps your clammy hands when they are in mine
When I tell you that I am sorry

I was not a good person
I was unhealthy
I was not medicated
And I hope you can forgive me

The guilt
Of knowing I hurt you so terribly
Would never end until those words escaped my mouth
And I tell you how much you mean to me

Sometimes, just for our own state of well-being, we need to apologize.

But it only means something if it is heartfelt...this one in this poem is just that.

A beautiful and very deep apology. The feelings is this poem is intensely heavy, the burden and guilt a monstrous weight for anyone to carry. I know something like this and the waiting, the hours that pass are the worst looking for them to find and understand our thoughts and wishes. Nicely done.
