Love Letter

Where does your mind wander?
If it leads to me
Can you remind me?

Tell me I’m relevant
That I’m the only one
Forever and always

If it doesn’t, can you remind me?

I’m sick of falling into pits of memories
It makes me so sick

Remind me that I’m never coming back
An internal tug of war
But, I know there is no chance for second chances

I’ll keep telling myself that I’m in a better place until I bleed from my mouth
