Ultrabamification

Ultrabamification

A Poem by Atticus Primrose
"

Everyday I encounter enemies of the imagination and so am constantly seeking to acquire a repository of weapons to free the mind.

"
Never mind the subtle beat on the door -
Dust, air, and debonair thoughts
Of spreadsheet colors and the developer's prayer book
Keep leathery slippered feet in the here and almost now.

Never mind the crisp whistle of boiling Minnesota
Water - buoyant musings linger in suspension, preaching
This morning's flavor to an open browser,
Soft finger tips, and a tenacious desire to know.

Don't bother about obstinate oil leaks, tablet-shattering
Youngling banshees, trap-ridden hallways, insatiable
Inboxes, and uncouth reflections appearing in oil-streaked
Four-inch screens. Never mind it all and let the mind indulge
Ultrabamification

I like the way you use words. I had to read a few times for the pleasure of the statements. I like your thoughts and places you took me in the poem. A good writer take the reader to a better or different place. You did. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
