Come back home

Come back home

A Poem by St.Jimmy
"

This is a poetic letter by a sister in Kashmir to her brother who has now become a terrorist due to religious misguidance. This sister is requesting him to leave everything and come back home.

"
Please my brother
I will never bother
Whatever you had done in past
Killed innocent
Just for the false welfare of caste
But the time is still left
Return back from the unknown
Please my brother come back home
Please my brother
This sister is requesting you helplessly
Listen to the wail of a moribund mother
Listen to the shrill call of an ill father
I know you never did that before
While destroying families ruthlessly
I can't bear it without you anymore
Please my brother come back home

Please my brother
I'll forgive you for your every sin
Except you there is no other
To bear my palanquin
Those ten years without my closest kin
Are piercing my heart like a pin
But still I have no regrets and complains
Just relieve the people from your terror
And relieve yourself from the brutal killing syndrome
Please my brother come back home

Please my brother
Do you still remember those winter days?
Do you still remember those  snowy dales?
Where we played without fear, without terror and relentless
Those dales now seem to sink into the blooded bays
The snow turned red and the sun fails
Every time when it tries to rise to begin days
Bullets fall like  rain when a cloud wails
That's it my brother
Tears have started to pour
Please,please dear come back home!
Just come back home!
Inshallah!

St.Jimmy
I became a sister of a terrorist brother while writing this. Although this is readable for all but Indians would better understand this as they are aware of the Kashmir issue

Your descriptions here are really powerful and effective. Specially with the change in scenery such as the snow turning red. This is very deep and i think an awesome write. Well done Aaradhya

This piece was wonderfully written and, obviously, very heartfelt. You don't have to be an Indian to understand the emotions in your words. A wonderful, simply wonderful poem, indeed!
