Alone

Alone

A Poem by oughtum
"

I wrote this at a fast-food establishment while on break l o l

"
They say loneliness is all in our head
that in a blissful reality it's all in our heads
So many people know how you feel, they say
Do they know how I feel?
Like an astronaut drifting in an ominous space
reaching for stars, but never catching them
her fingertips gently brushing against the
bright, phantasmal orbs
but never    in                                                         reach.
I'm drifting alone
my spacecraft being pulled toward a black hole
no stars
no galaxies
 no
          hope
just a black hole, swallowing me deeper
every
sing
day
