Know That I Too
We are never alone (a poem for mental health month)
Wet

Wet

A Poem by toneless or etherized?
"

This poem is about my high school crush right before graduation.

"
Sometimes I cry to sleep,
I lose control, sweep my eyes and weep.
I can't believe,
what has happened to me,
and then I remember who's behind me.

I can't control, what I did before,
what you did to me,
or what I can't control.
I lost my way,
Now I'm losing my mind.
My eyes are wet,
and my past's behind.

I'm looking forward,
to what comes next.
I can't wait to see,
who accepts me for who I am.
Cause I can't change that,
it's a part of me and
a part of you next.

So please don't mess up now
I'm talking to you,
the one in the mirror all alone.
She might like you and
so it can't turn out like the one before.
She is so special. She has a little glimmer in her eye.
She is bad but has a sense of what is wrong and right.
She might like you, even just as a friend.
Please don't lose her, don't admit your feelings, not yet.
Just take it slow, even though you're almost out of time.
Don't be afraid to talk to her, only so many chances left.
You can be her man, you can be her lover too.
But for now my eyes are wet and
my heart hopeful while drowning in tears.
