Take the pain

Take the pain

Holding me in chains,

I’m too far gone,

To feel the  scars,

Damaged,

Broken,

And left alone,

Take the tears,

That burn my cheeks,

Take the memories,

Haunting my dreams,

We weren’t supposed to make it this far,

But I fell for you,

I fell so hard,

Take my frown,

Its looming crown,

All it does is bring me down.

most of my poetry is venting, i write to make myself feel better a lot of the time. sorry if its a bit depressing. :)
