Where is god?

Poem I wrote about being sexually abused by by ex stepfather.

Where is god?

There was once a little girl
With beautiful black hair
And big brown eyes.
Once, she was always happy.
She had faith in God. 
Until that night.

Where is god?

A monster scared that night 
And ever since, she hasn't felt right
She has nightmares every single night.
She asked herself did the monster even feel guilty, even that night.

Where is god? She asked

She wasn't the same since that night.
She felt disgusted of the world
She felt exhausted to be here.
She felt used and worthless.
How can someone be so cruel to an innocent little girl?

How can god allow such a thing?
Where is god?

Dark thoughts have filled her mind since that night.
She just wanted the pain to leave.
The monster caused irreparable damage.
She remembers like it was yesterday.
Things just don't feel right.

Where is God she asked?
Does God even exist?

But one day the pain will leave.
The damage will soon repair.
One day she will be happy again.
And she will slowly start to gain faith again.
And she will soon be that happy little girl she was once.

Where can god be?
