Tonight..

Tonight..

A Poem by ayejodie
"

Sometimes, I truly break into a million pieces...

"
God, will you comfort me?
Will you wrap me up and hold me tight.
Will you tell me that it all works out,
that I will be ok.
Will you take me away....

God will you stay with me?
And never let me go.
God please..
Please will you tell me not to cry..
Will you tell me that the world is not as cruel as it may seem.
Will you show me happiness
-that I have never seen.

Will you help me sleep and take the bad away.
Please...
Tonight, I am so lost..

Ayejodie; Thought it was a beautiful heartfelt poem, no begging. Don't believe God thinks there's a wrong way to ask for peace or guidance. Everyone gets lost; and somehow we find a way out...sometimes we get so lie, life seems so not worth living, but then I think of my daughter, with an IV going into her heart, wishing upon every wish to live and I feel so blessed, every time I take a breath. The poem is great! And I will pray for you too...Thanks so much...Dale
