Butterfly

Butterfly

A Poem by Jezebel Marie
"

This broke through the writer's block.

"

Naivety echoes in my head like a ticking clock.
          {And every little tick brings me closer to my bones.
               And every bone in me is breaking under the pressure.
                      And the pressure is your weight sinking and forming fast to my body.
}

And my body must mean absolutely nothing to you
because you seem to think it can endure much more than
the mind you seem to be forgetting...
                              {The mind that's a person.
                                    The person that you're hurting.
    The hurt that your causing is making me sick.
}
