A Poem by Tiffany Riley
"

emptiness

"

I'm running low on strength, my smiles are fading away, and my cup of joy  has tipped over and spilled over my shirt like my tears do in my fragile state. Have you noticed? It's leaving me empty, unsatisfied, I'm no longer content with any of this. I am no longer beautiful. I'm failing this class, I'm not learning the lesson that is being taught, I am shattered.

Nice sentiment. The format of a poem is just as important as the word.

Short sweet and to the point, I like it.

This is good- short, simple, direct... I know we all feel that way sometimes, the hopelessness of things, the futility of life (as it seems)... sometimes the things we hope for the very most are the things that are not meant to be. I know the struggle, the confusion, the battles that go on unseen. Great write!
