No child should ever, be left to roam
the streets or the darkness at home
No child is heartless if you teach them what the heart is
An why the world is gonna take some time to heal

Mothers and fathers
Guardians and others
Let the children know what they are
The future the angels the gifts that untangle
The world just needs time to heal

Some of us have demons inside or out
Some feel like burdens as the words count
The fear and hate is taught and it's heartbreaking I know
So don't feel afraid to speak up and say
With love - your child will conquer the world
Remind them of tomorrow as you teach them today

Let the children know what they are
The dreamers the believers the happiness within us
The world just needs reminders of love

Some of us feel empty
Some of us runaway
The opportunity to adopt will never go away
So don't feel obliged just reach out and try
To understand why
Children are often the answer to that question
Children make the world be felt
Give them all the joy and laughter

Love heals the world
Love is the children who know what they are
An when they grow older
Make the truth known and still keep them warmer
Cause we all have a chance
