Fathers and Sons

A Story by Azsa Wild

You may have passed and I didn't miss it
Its better off the feeling that fathers need to hone
An emptiness is baring one phone call was caring
Never mind why we are here at all

Someone said I look just like my mama
Green eyes button nose and high cheeks
Never had I heard a word
You look like ya daddy
Dark skin and deep sins

Oh I happily took from both sides
Cause both can keep up crying eyes
But if I said I loved you
I promise you father
That was no lie

Fathers and Sons have a journey to do
Missed that last minute to talk to you
It's Mothers and Sons I'm talking to.....

You I've forgiven and never will I forget
There was the rough times but there's the good times oh daddy they ain't see nothing yet

I'm going to take you're flaws on board but I've taken the creativity and accord with brain cells like this how could I get bored
I'm going to flaunt the heritage sweet cooking good looking and music scores Oh fathers and sons have a journey to do!

They say I look just like Mama
Well I guess inside hides my father's luck and power
There's no way to slow this blessing down!

All in All I'm looking high and low
Still the curious child between up and go
There's just one thing you need to know

Had it come to a new beginning
A place where trust and safety was winning
You know that id find you and stay
So cheers with the ole whiskey dad
I hope you are alive an kicking
I know id make you proud
Cause my other dad is mighty glad.
