As It Flows

As It Flows

A Poem by Brandon

As it flows so thick and red,
the sharpened blade beside my bed.

I start to think and all I see
are images of you and me.

I wish you were here by my side
just so I didn't have to hide

in the darkness of my room
all I can think of is my doom.

Thinking back on what you said
thoughts are churning in my head,

and all I want to do is know
if you'll still love me when you go.

Wow.
Usually I don't like rhyming, but that was beautiful.

This poem is short but very deep and dark. Really enjoyed reading. Keep it up and well done.

I like this. Deep :)

This is intense and moving. It throws one off their kilter and makes them face their own emotions. The way you opened it is not the way you ended it thematically, and that makes the whole thing better. I enjoyed reading it. I like how your poems are extremely organized and well-thought out in their flow. Free form poetry is nice too, but this was pretty good. Thanks for sharing.
