My Four Children

My Four Children

A Poem by Belinda Rice
"

for my children to see...

"

My four children are my life,

No one can hurt them,

Or there will be a big fight,

You mess with them,

You have to go through me,

Cause I will do whats right you see,

They mean the world to me,

So for people that hate them,

Better hate on me,

I will stand up for what is right,

Cause like I said my children are my life,

You break my rules for my kids,

You will just have a bigger problem to deal with,

I dont care what you think,

My children will not be corrupted,

Not by anyone in this world,

Cause they are my life now you are told,

You have a problem open up your mouth,

I will stand up for them and shout,

F**k you all who dont give a damn,

This is were I am and were I satnd.

Very powerful. My mum is the same (I think all are)...she told us that if someone attacks her children, she will protect us, we are her cubs lol :D
Sometimes though, you have to let your children make their own mistakes and learn to be assertive; which is a skill for life. I think it just depends on how hard the situation is and the confrontation at hand.

A lovely poem full of power and love :D
