Snow

Snow

A Poem by Belinda Rice
"

Just something that came to mind I dont even know if its any good lol

"

As I watch out the window pane,

I see all white like the angels wings,

The snow is falling laying on the grass,

Covering the streets that looks like glass,

Its so beautiful to watch it fall,

Standing out in it is the best of it all,

I want to play snow ball fight tonight,

But my kids are sleeping through out the night,

I want to wake them just to play,

But I will just have to wait,

Wait till the moring comes,

Then we can have loads of fun,

I want to make snow angels on the ground,

Cause God sent this to us to purify us now,

To clense the earth from sickness to health,

I am glad to have the snow fall its self,

I stood there looking in the sky,

Wondering How God make this beautiful times,

It make the streets glow all so bright,

As if there was thousands of courner street lights.

Very sweet. You have a beautiful heart and it shows through your writing. This made me think of the song 'Winter Wonderland'.

There's such a innocence to your poem.it 's not in any way childish but it's as if a child is seeing the world for the very first time.. that's so rare in iour cynical world. Snow angels and snowball fights... glittering and glass.like.. has the sound of snow falling on metal - bell-ringing of smow pon steel...

is lovely.. truly is..

It's not a matter of being any good, Belinda....you wrote it from your heart, put your creative mind and soul into it....and obviously enjoyed writing it! THAT makes it unique and special, also giving a delightful insight into the purity of snow when it first falls. I have vivid memories growing up in Germany, embarking on all kinds of fun in the snow while it lasted. Of course, no one enjoyed the muddy slush after it melted along the streets. Thank you for your delightful poem in the many ways snow looks and feels, gifting us with so much happiness! BRAVO.
