You and I

A Poem by Bailey

I wrote out my feelings, and I tried to put it in a poem form. It doesn't ryhme, and doesn't have any rythm. But that's not what poetry's about. I hope you enjoyed it. Please leave a comment.

You say we’re close,

Yet I feel like we

Live on two different worlds.

Our conversations are filled with

Awkward pauses,

And I feel like you don’t

Enjoy my company.

For that short period of time,

That you weren’t with her,

We talked non-stop.

We went to the park together

For four days in a row.

I thought that maybe,

Just maybe you felt the same way

About me that I felt about you,

And that maybe we would date.

But for you it would be too

Awkward.

And you went back to that girl,

That girl that hurt you

So many times.

I won’t tell you how I feel

About you being with her

Because I fear of losing you.

I think that because she

Doesn’t trust you, you make

It so awkward between us.

I wish,

Just wish,

That you will finally see how mean

She actually is,

And that you will

Stop dating her.

I’m tired of not being able

To spend time with you,

Because you have to spend all of your time

With her.

I’m done asking to hang out

And being rejected.

Have a nice life,

And don’t come crying to me

When she hurts you,

AGAIN.

I liked it. Its like I could see you two drifting apart. I agree with Glam Girl you could separate the stanzas, but other than that I thought it was perfect. Keep up the good work can't wait to read more from you.
