A Poem by Bandi Brock
"

For a friend of mine who recently died in a motorcycle accident. Life changes so fast.

"

May i forget the day

you were taken away

and you never said goodbye,

You left so fast

to become the past

now all i can do is cry.

Hurt that hurts so bad

family's you left here sad

how were we to know,

drinking and driving

whiskey bent striving

you loved that bike so.

I now wonder alone

always driving to home

what was going through your mind

always such a hard a*s

now taking you free pass

and you've left us all behind.

She loved you most

your special host

now lying in tears that stain

how will she live

with no one to give

that love that you remain.

Loved and missed

honored and kissed

you are still here, i know

i see your face

and stand in your place

how we will miss you so.

I put this together pretty quick. It's a poem i don't need judged because it's about someone i lost not somwthing i'd like to gain. Hope you enjoyed.

Not judging just feeling. Tomas is right, pain requires poetry

Its a pity it takes such pain to inspire such poetry

A well written tribute for your friend, I am saddened to read about your loss. My son was killed in a car accident last year by a drunk driver. Drinking and driving is so senseless. You are in my prayers. Debileah
