A starry revelation

I wait in line

to reach the stars

I wait some more

to get my turn

 

The stars that shone

told pray- why beseech us?

whats in us that you seek to behold

 

I said that's what ive been told

to reach for the stars

to push my envelope

to get to my limits, to be like an antelope

 

 

The stars smiled

 

 

Its in inner universe that lies hidden

the stars lie within

The mountain peaks that you wish to climb

Reside within you - O wandering mind

 

 

Be your master, conquer thy self

Push thy inner limits, and win the battle within

 

 

Suddenly it struck me -

 

Its me I have to master

My own self, my own desires

Am I the star that I wish to find? Am I the star that is in my mind?

 

The star lies deep hidden, waiting to be seen

While I keep running, to reach the stars above, that can just be seen

 

 

I am the star I am the star

A voice within cried

 

I am the star I am the star

Its then ..I realised
