Shattered

Shattered

A Poem by Josh

The room bare
people pass by
you take no notice
you don't care
you don't feel anything
emptiness
where the heart was
nothing but a million little pieces
the world tries to talk to you
you ignore
the world tries to cheer you up
why?
Your heart is shattered
everyone asks what's the matter
you shrug it off
saying, I'm tired, or nothing
you have fallen and there isn't a reason to get back up.
So you let the world pass you by.

Awe...

That is how aI feel after reading this.

Wanting to give a hug or a kind word to ease the hurt ,
but nothing does.. not even time I think..

I love this piece..
