Sovereign Lord

The heavens display your splendor oh God
and the earth declares your works
Night unto day it's beauty we laud
and the circuits of Cosmos your skirts

The testimony of your works are sure
and perfection are your laws
the goings forth of your paths are pure
it's considerations do give us pause

To your King you give his hearts desire
and forever his life is to be
for in life he did all you require
and he will rule for eternity

You granted him to build a temple of praise
for the King has trusted in you
you have accorded him length of days
and the earth will give him his due

You have conferred him the crown to life
which more brilliant than purest gold
out of man you have chosen his wife
your promise from days of old

You have set him at your own right hand
because he exalted in truth
among your enemies he took your stand
you did part him to glories booth

Shortly now he will take his throne
and the sword to him you'll give
strike it will our earthly home
and those he knows will live

Judgment and justice to anointed kings
to heal mankind and cleanse their tears
to minister to man of the holy things
and with peace to remove their fears

Every nation of the earth will bow
and all peoples who within exist
only those who love live will allow
and destroy all those who resist
